Bio
Mo Wells is currently the Director of Pro & Elite Sports at Elite Performance. Prior to arriving here in Frisco, Mo ran the show at The Sports Academy and The Kollective in Austin, TX where he served as the Director of Professional Sports. Previously, he was the Vice President of Professional Sports for House of Athlete in Weston, FL. Within HOA, he oversaw all pro sports training, marketing, and business relations for a wide range of sport affiliations such as NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, and Olympic T&F. At HOA. He trains some of the top athletes in the country. Some of these names include Super Bowl Champion Leonard Fournette, KJ Osborn, Anthony Walker Jr., Kenny Moore III, Jarvis Landry, Jordin Canada, Alaysha Johnson, Gervonta Davis, Ja’Marr Chase, Bijan Robinson and a plethora of others. While at HOA, Wells oversaw and trained two of the best NFL Combine classes in the country in 2021 & 2022.
Before making the move to House of Athlete, Mo was a strength & conditioning coach for IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL where he worked with all National teams and was the Head of Speed Development for the entire academy. He was a key contributor to the 2020 National Championship IMG Academy Football team. Wells also oversaw the #4 Ranked NFL Combine training class (Inside the League) which was a home for outstanding prospects like Patrick Queen of LSU and the Baltimore Ravens, Justin Jefferson of LSU and the Vikings, K’Lavon Chaisson of LSU and Jaguars, and D’Andre Swift from the University of Georgia and Detroit Lions. Mo Wells also over- saw movement for NBA Rookie of the Year Ja Morant and others.
Mo’s other coaching experience includes serving as the Sports Performance Specialist/Strength & Conditioning Coach at Michael Johnson Performance in Dallas, Texas, Assistant Director of Sports Performance at Traction Sports Performance in Baton Rouge, LA, a Performance Coach with EXOS/ Adidas in Manhattan, New York, as well as a Graduate Assistant with LSU’s Strength and Conditioning in Baton Rouge, LA.
As a Shreveport, Louisiana native, where he also has his own day which was coined October 15th, of 2022, this all came post his graduation from LSU where he was a Sprinter Hurdler for the prestigious LSU Track & Field team where he was a Top 15 400m Hurdler in the SEC and All-Conference hurdler for McNeese State University. He holds his bachelors in Health Sciences and certifications from the NSCA, USAW, USATF, USTFCCCA, NASM, & EXOS.
